Axel C Moore is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Imperial College London in the Department of Bioengineering. His work, supervised by Prof Molly Stevens, aims to develop functional load-bearing biomaterials for the repair and replacement of orthopedic tissues, namely articular cartilage. 

Axel received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Delaware with a thesis titled 'Independent and Competing Roles of Fluid Exudation and Rehydration in Cartilage Mechanics and Tribology'. This project was supervised by Prof David Burris.
